Does it come w/ 1 or 2 zippers?The one we've had for 10 years lasted that long because it had 2 zippers, so you zip from both end to middle.
Yes it has two zippers so you can zip from both ends to the middle.
Our older tree has a metal pole at the center and is quite heavy (1970s era solid tree construction). Would the bag hold it without puncturing it?
I would say yes, the bag is similar to tarp material, strong and light weight
We are going to put our tree in basement for storage. Sometimes the basement has water. Is this bag waterproof?
The material is tarp like. We have had no issues with this item when tested with water. You certainly may try the item yourself before storing your tree.
Can you stand the bag up?
It is like a huge duffel bag. The bottom and sides are soft. I was able to prop the bag up against a wall with the tree in it.
Why do some reviews say that it will not hold a 9ft tree and some say it will?
We fit a 9' medium width tree with lights and 3 fairly wide wreaths in this bag and there is still room for more.
